34 RLSA question
Has anyone who owns a 34 rlsa swapped the sofa and recliners so that the recliners are facing the TV?
I can't tell from looking at the floor plan if its possible and can't find one to look at. It looks like it might be possible but I need to know for sure before I consider buying one.

The sofa won't alllow the slides to come in if you place them where the recliners are. I had the same question.

I swapped them and they fit fine. I even picked out a couple end tables for the couch. But, I discovered I like sitting on the firm couch to watch TV better. We love the 34 RLSA.

Really, I knew I shouldn't have believed anything the salesman told me.
You can pull in the slides without a problem?

No, you can't pull in the slides with the sofa in the rear. But, you can't pull in the slides unless you swivel the recliners either.

You've peaked my curiosity. Do you swap the couch back to its original position every time you close the slides?

OK, my 2 cents worth (I have a 2013 34 RLSA):
If you swap the couch with the recliners, the slides will not come in. Sure, you can do it and leave it that way while you are parked, but everytime you hitch up to hit the road, you will have to move the couch back into position opposite the TV. Oh and someone pointed this out but you do have to swivel the recliners and push them back firmly against the back wall to be sure the slide clears. Personally, while I would love to be able to swap positions of the couch and recliners, all that furniture moving every time I hit the road would be too much. So I live with the couch/recliner positions. And DW and I have come to love it.
We actually liked the couch/recliner positions before we got the unit. Our reasoning was: DW watches TV while lying on the couch and I from the recliner farthest from the TV. With the couch opposite the TV, she can switch from her head at one end of the couch to her head at the other and still see the TV. But after using the unit, she found she prefers the recliner over the couch for watching TV. (Not sure why??) So we do a little strategic rearranging and lining up of the recliners and everything works just fine. Happy with the floorplan as is!

Not a big problem, we stay 5-6 mo. at our Green Valley, AZ winter site. A set of those furniture sliders from Wally World takes the work out.

Well I guess that anwers my original question. I was only interested in the 34 rlsa if they could be swapped and left that way permanently. We wanted the recliners opposite the TV like in the 36 ckts but in a smaller unit.

Understand your concern w/ chair facing TV vice sofa. Don't have a good answer other than to say the 36CKTS comes the way your'e wanting the chairs in the 34RLSA, the 36CKTS is however 3' longer unit.
