New member with a 34IK not even 30 days old. Just curious with other owners. Wife went to use the vacuum this am and the only way to turn it on is go outside and turn in on in the storage compartment. Found this kind of strange you cannot turn it on inside if you want to use the hose. Al

Make sure the hose is fully seated in the suck port. We had to wiggle ours a little one time.

Does the floor duster go on when you lift the door. If not, you may have a remote power problem

Floor duster works like a champ. No trouble with the hose at all. Just found it kind of strange you gotta go outside to turn on the vacuum. Looked underneath to see if it was plugged into an outlet by chance but appears to be wired direct. Al

You don't on mine. 2 separate switces. The On/off outside and the auto on inside when you plug in the hose.

Ok thanks for the tip. My wife was at this detail and I just went and tried it for myself. You gotta put a little more muscle in to the hose. When I did that she fired right up. Al
