35QBA - Another Simple Addition

A simple add on and easy to do. The backsplash they use in the Silverback's can be found at lowes. It's just a stick on stainless looking tile that comes in 12"x12" squares. Here's a few pictures of what we added. Did 4" in the master bath, and did the right side of the stove in the kitchen. Behind the stove was already there.

Looks great. If you don't mind my asking, how do you like the position of the bathroom faucets?

I didn't think I'd like it, but it has grown on me and I actually like it a little better than the traditional mount. With a shallow countertop, its ideal and out of the way. Some may not like it, so, if not, do like I do when I don't like something, rip it out and start over.

And Another Easy Fix

Added a valve to the toilet water supply. I've been slowly adding shut offs to everything. On this particular one, you can imagine the bind the previous 90 deg plastic fitting was in trying to make the connection to the toilet. Just look at the angle the pex line comes in compared to the threaded inlet. Looked like it was just waiting to snap.

I took Herk's recommendation and added a shut off also while in FL when I overhauled the pedal valve on our commode.

Looks great in both kitchen and bath, John! I was wondering about where to get some more of those tiles as the factory installed some of ours not lined up correctly, and I was possibly going to square it off myself if the dealer balks when I go back down there. But I like the added touch of along right side near fridge and in bathroom.

You just added more stuff to my list - and I'm happy u did!
