36 CKTS Pendant Lighting

I have a 2013 36 CKTS with three hinged pendant lights over the island. I have two issues. First, when attempting to replace a burned out bulb in one light, I broke the receptacle the bulb fits into. Does anyone know the light brand or how I might get a replacement receptacle? Secondly, I would like change the automotive type bulbs to LED and I'm not sure how to accomplish this. Any help would be appreciated.

Me too. I want to switch them out to LED's.

Last weekend I tried to remove a bulb to see what I had so I could look for an LED replacement but could not. I pushed, pulled and twisted but stopped because I felt something was about to break.

Additionally the bulbs in the fixture above the table are slated to go to LED's. They pull straight out. I would like to know what to use as an LED replacement for them... Anyone know?

switch to led

The ones above the island are twist and pull. They are very hard to get out.
Don't remember the number.

The ones above the table and ceiling lights are push/pull.

That # is 921.

This is where I got my LEDS from M4products.com

Thanks for the info C.B.!

A quick look at their web site reveals thet all I need to know (for the three pendant lights above the island) is if they are single center contact or double. I presume single but would like confirmation as I am away from my trailer.

DJNCJ,

The lights above the island are two contact and are 1076 automotive style...........very hard to find. The reason the bulbs are hard to remove is the lead contacts on the bulb stick up too high above the base and the receptacle is not spring loaded. Once the bulbs are forced in the heat of the incandescent bulbs almost welds the contacts together. When I replaced a couple of the bulbs I used a file to knock down the bulb contacts so they would be easier to install and replace. Unfortunately, that is how one of the receptacles was broken.....the bulb would not easily come out.

GRV Ba15d 1076 1142 High Bright Car LED Bulb 102-3528 SMD DC12V Cool White Pack of 2
These are the LEDs I bought from Amazon above the island. The 1076's got stuck when they burned out so I put LEDs in.
