If your frig is the same whirlpool model number then the valve is around $50.00

Part #6 on the diagram..

You can probably find it other places for less $$ this is just the first place I found it.

The Fridge is in the front end of the ODS slide therefore the only way to install an access door that would actually give you access to the "pump" is through the outer wall. As for paint matching, I think he used a standard absorption fridge door and had it painted. I know that he does not have Pearl coat. Maybe he will post a pic.
As for the raised mount, my best guess is that the hole is standard for all of the fridge options.

Not adding much to the thread, but I de-winterized mine today and I quickly had a flood under the fridge, which soaked everything on the slide. I never use the ice maker, so I am going to cap off the line, and remove the ice maker. It's just way too much work to try to winterize your fridge on top of everything else that has to be done that time of year. I had never used it since new, so I didn't think there'd be any water up there to freeze. I stand corrected. I was not a happy camper to see water coming out of the bottom of the slide.
