Often times wires will get rubbed/pinched and short out due to being misrouted.
The flexing (during slide operation) eventually rubs it enough to compromise the wiring.

Anytime you have a dead short, look at the outlet boxes first. With the DC items in our campers, anyplace there is a wire crimp connection can be suspect. If a wire comes out of the crimp "hat" and touches the aluminum frame material or the ground wire you will be blowing fuses.
Look at the switch for the LED lights and the crimp connections at the fixture; then if they are all solid, the wire run to the fixture is pinched somewhere. Those can be a bear (and expensive in labor) to track down.
