I see that you have a MorRyde pigtail reel in there, how does that go for you?

It works and I like it - but it was included with the rig... If I had to purchase, I would really have to think hard at $190+ for it.

If mine did not have the reel in camper then I would put one in. That 50amp cable is a problem when it's cold, when cable is in the reel the cable takes up less space, worth every every penny

I just use five gallon bucket to store the 50 amp cable. Sort of kills two birds with one stone. Keeps the cable all tidy and gives me a bucket on hand for when needed.

Is your cable reel permanently mounted? A and how long is your cable? I think I want to get one for DH - that cable gets heavier and takes up more room every time we unload and load it. Lol

I just took some wood screws and fastened the reel down, I can reel that cable in, in less than a minute and wipe it off at the same time. When it gets below freezing that cable becomes a monster, I keep my reel in the side where I can get it out quick, it's one of the first things I take out, I hook the power up first. I think my cable is 36ft long, I will measure it tomorrow morning and let you know. I carry 30amp cable around just in case

With full water, propane, etc we are running at ~15200, well within our GVWR of 16,615.
Our wheel is also screwed to the floor of the cabinet. Our cord is a 30' cord.

Like it👍. I have a side door built in reel and it saves my tired old body each and every time. I do carry a 15 ft extension with a step down from 50 to 30 amp service.
Learned from experience that extensions were a necessity for both sewer and electrical. Some hook ups are difficult at best! You only have to set and block once and then need to re do and move to make these more of a priority 😏
ESPECIALLY OUT WEST !!
