38FL Front Storage Buildup

Well I knew I needed to address the front storage area and well it was cold out but wanted to get this worked out... about 4.5 lbs of wood, screws, etc and it is all sorted out now.

I see that you have a MorRyde pigtail reel in there, how does that go for you?

It works and I like it - but it was included with the rig... If I had to purchase, I would really have to think hard at $190+ for it.

If mine did not have the reel in camper then I would put one in. That 50amp cable is a problem when it's cold, when cable is in the reel the cable takes up less space, worth every every penny

I just use five gallon bucket to store the 50 amp cable. Sort of kills two birds with one stone. Keeps the cable all tidy and gives me a bucket on hand for when needed.

Is your cable reel permanently mounted? A and how long is your cable? I think I want to get one for DH - that cable gets heavier and takes up more room every time we unload and load it. Lol
