I didn't measure the slides/awning/level-up as those are usually one time events (well except maybe the awning) and didn't figure those are too big of a worry for me.

Yes the panels and controller arrived today. It is a 200watt system that I got for very little money from someone so it may/may not be the right system but it is a good system to start with for very little money. Time to read up as I am not 100% sure about putting them on the roof yet or just setting them up on a pole each time we are out (only 2-3 times per year at this point for boondocking)

Lots of reading to do before I install the solar systems.

Yes, even though the hyd pump is not a reoccurring event it is a significant amp draw even though short in duration.
Yes I worried about the where to mount and how to fasten the panels. But once I laid out some cardboard the size of my panels on the roof I was able to figure the best location. IMO, a nice thing about our roof is there is a lot of real estate. I just hated drilling that first hole in the roof.
