Got ours back - dealer secured a heavy duty spring to the frame and attached it to the wiring harness which they had added more electrical ties to. Keeps wires off the tires now - not sure how long the spring will keep it's strength after the slide has been out for a few weeks. When I get a chance and weather gets a little better will see if I can easily disconnect from the harness before running the slide out. Still would be a pain but better than before.

Justbob would you mind taking a picture? I had purchase a spring to do something similar myself. Would like to see if there thinking is the same. By the way the factory has not responded anymore to my request even after the president of the cedar creek owners club spoke with higher ups. Guess since they discontinued our model we are on our own.

Will try to get one posted soon as I can.
Didn't know they had discontinued our model - we love the layout.

Talking Dining Slide Power Cables Fixed

Got my 38RD back. The repair (in warranty) included re-routing and shortening the power cables. The repair was approved by F.R. and was no problem for my local dealer (United RV, Ft. Worth Tx.) who did an excellent job fixing a situation that should have never happened in the first place. We are ready for some serious camping.

Howellheads would you mind taking a picture and post it? I have not yet fixed mine with a spring that another Creeker provided based on how the dealer fixed theirs. I would like to see this fix I might attempt to do this fix instead.

Love love this coach. Wish they had not discontinued this model. I think it is a big mistake on CC's part. We have had very little issues. Little ones that I have solved myself. This is our 8th RV and 3rd 5th wheel. Been the best so far.
