batteries are not included from the factory, they're a dealer item.
only if you request them from the dealer, will you get 4 6v batteries and you'll have to pay for them, including installation costs.
batteries only come from the factory, on motorhomes.

That is not a request, if you have a residential refrigerator with an inverter you are susposed to get 4 6volt batteries.

It maybe true, maybe not. You can find the requirement printed on a sticker in the battery compartment.

Or, as previously posted, if you have an inverter and residential fridge, you must have 4 batteries to power it.

If you have an absorption fridge, you might want to consider a second battery anyway. Especially if you have the 12v TV.

I'm sure I paid for them in one way or another, but there was no additional entry on the sale papers that indicated it was an option. When I picked it up, there were 4 new Interstate batteries installed by the dealer.

What is a advantage to having the 4, last longer? And wouldn't that be 24v and not 12v or will everything run off 24?

Yes it will last longer. And it will be 12VDC since the batteries are arranged in a series/parallel configurations.

If the dealer balks you might be able to gain leverage from Cedar Creek Customer Relations.
