6 point level up and snap pads ?affect warranty

I ran across a fellow RVer last week who was using snap caps on his level up system. They interested me because bending over and placing the orange squares is becoming more difficult. I searched and read the threads on this topic. I was wondering what your thoughts are especially regarding warranty. I will try get information from Lippert about warranty before I actually buy if I decide to, but I was just interested in your thoughts.

I just installed them on our unit. They are just pads that snap on to your existing ones, so shouldn't effect the warranty at all. If anything they should help prevent some damage.

Had them my 2015 Big Country (Heartland) love them. They do a excellent job of protecting the foot pad, especially when it's at the dealership. I lost that unit to the flood we had in 2016. I bough a new set for my 2017 Cedar Creek Hathaway and the new model are better than the old one I had on my last unit.

Sometimes they have a web special. At a rally I could have gotten them for 120 a set but add 40% for CDN forget it. Too much.

Brady, They surely won't void your warranty. I've had them on my 5th wheel for almost 2 years now. I like them and they give more area of a footprint on the ground. Nice when some campgrounds with asphalt want you to put down protection. Just get the extra with the drainage for water. When I purchased mine that was not an option so I just drilled drainage holes.

I, like you, am tired of carrying heavy objects (2 by pick as size) or even plastic pads. Not to mention having to deal with them once they have been in the mud.

Now, if your decision is driven by $'s then you might just find them too expensive but since you are asking I'm assuming price is not keeping you away.

Get em, you'll like them...

Thanks for All of the replies. It is so helpful to be able to put an idea out and get comments from others before I proceed. It appears the biggest negative is the price and that is something I will need to consider. I did do a search on the FR site before I posted and the comments were about the same but I wanted to see what people thought after some time had gone by. Thanks again for taking the time to reply.

I put a set on our Cedar Creek when it was new. They work very well and I feel a little more secure when I park on my slanted driveway. Can't imagine they will affect the warranty in anyway. Besides, the warranty only lasts a year...Watch some of the RV related websites and they often have some great group buying deals.

Just ordered a set of 6....they are still in the box after 2 weeks....anyone want to wager a guess as to why....yep....dealer has had the Columbus now for almost two weeks trying to fix a slide problem...those Snappads will be installed someday....I hear they are going to be a great addition.

I used a stall pad to put under my extra fuel tank and I had some extra left. I sawed it in 12 inches pieces, six pieces, one for all the jacks. The pad was 4ft/6ftX 3/4 inches thick.

6 point w/ snap pads

I have not purchased. I do like the idea, but frequently I use several locking blocks rather than extending front levelers farther than I like.
Not sure of the value of the snap pad on top of the locking blocks . I also use cut stall pads under all landing gear.
