That looks absolutely great!

We have considered doing the same, but haven't gotten around to it yet. We actually were able to store our dry goods pretty well in the areas over the stove/counter (not being full-timers). We still use closet to hang keys, DW purse, keep some cleaning supplies in there too.

I better not show DW the picture as that is what she wants me to do with the closet, unless you want to come and to mine also. Great job!

I keep looking at this picture. Can you tell me more about how you did it? Where did you get the shelving material?

Rpechie, I used birch boards I purchased at lowes I trimmed the front with thin 1/4 in trim to keep the cans from sliding off. I attached the 4 metal clip hangers 2 on each side. These are the type that have the metal clips (shelf holders) that fit in the slots and you can adjust them where you want. I stained and sealed the shelves as close as I could. Hope this helps

Thanks maddogz. Really looks great, and adds some extra, usable space. I use that whole area (above the appliance garage) as pantry, and this space would certainly come in handy.

Great job. I always liked the hoosier style cabinets in Cedar Creeks!
