Adding extra stability to 40’ CC 6point level system.

Any advice on add straps or extra support to 40’ camper on 6 point leveling system? I have the camper as low as possible on the level system, but we are still getting allot of wobble inside. And even feel it in moderate winds.

In Florida sandy type grass....jacks are on solid concrete 8” risers blocks.

I’m thinking of adding opposing straps at the rear frame.

Anyone experimented with this concept?

Do you have JT strongarms or steadyfast stabilizers? They work well to reduce the shake

Agreed, add the SteadyFast system.

We also had noticeable "wobble" with the Lippert Level Up 6 point levelers no matter how little we extended the cylinders. Our fiver is shorter than yours at 37', but there is still a lot of camper hanging in the air behind the rear jacks. I added the rear electric stabilizer jacks that used to come on fivers before the Level Up System and it cured the "wobble". Here's an example of what I'm talking about … there are other vendors and other brands.

I saw a redwood owner at Shipshewana campground have a A-Frame jack mounted in his rear hitch. He said it made a big difference. He would just crank it down to snug.

I'm using these on the landing gear and I don't have any wobble. Not sure I had much even before I started using these.

Can you tell me what company makes these? I would be interested in purchasing some myself.

Thanks!

Amazon has three or four different brands. I just happened to meet another camper who had ordered two and discovered he didn't need them. He offered to sell the pair to me for $40 and I jumped at it.

The red Anderson Jack Blocks do work to some extent, but assuming you have 6 for a Level Up System … they'll take up the equivalent of two 5 gallon plastic buckets of storage space unless you have room to stack them more than 3 high which I don't. They will also sink in soft ground as the bottom is not a solid surface. You'd just have to turn one upside down to see what I mean.

Those Anderson blocks look really cool until you look at the price!

Yeah … pricey!! As supported a few replies prior, some people like them and say they work. Just not for me for the reasons I already covered. Some people trying them with Level Up have had issue with the Andersons when on an unlevel campsite … they won't let the RV nose down enough before the cylinder bottoms out, so the level sequence faults out. Others have had issue with the magnets coming off or the bucket rim that contacts the ground cracking off. All in all as with many innovative products … some people like them … others are disappointed in the flaws. It's your call.

United RV in Ft Worth has the best price I've found. Everyone else seems to sell them at MSRP.
