It seems like the AC cooling our living room in our COTTAGE cycles off for quite a short time. The 2nd over the B.R. and Bath cycles off for a longer period. Is there anything unusual here. I believe both AC's are 13.5 k and the one over the bedroom cools a smaller area. Both do a good job of cooling but i am concerned about the cycle time of the forward most ac.
If one of the air vents is blowing air on or near the main thermostat ... change the vent direction. Your bedroom A/C should have its own TStat to make cycling differernt.

turned that vent away from the main t stat - will see
The fan setting might make a difference ... might not. The difference in the automatic setting compared to an actual fan speed is the compressor cycles on and off with the fan continuing to run on say medium fan. Automatic ... it self selects the fan speed due to temp differential between set point and actual room temp. Also, the compressor and fan cycle on and off in automatic, not just the compressor. Read up on your TStat ... assuming it is digital, it may have an adjustable differential setting for each zone.
you should have a 15000 in living room and 13000 in bed room the sensor for bedroom is in the ceiling the living room is the thermostat all the ducts are tied together mine runs a lot in the afternoon because rear windows are in hot after noon sun
