I checked at the power supply and got 12.54.

At the antenna coax end, I got 13.4.

The light is still dim.

Either something/nothing is wrong. I could sent it back and get another.

Haven't had it out of the shed yet so I can't say what reception I'll get in the real world. Next trip in August.

Sent a technical request to CW last night.

I purchased a Jack antenna replacement head from CW a few weeks ago and recently installed. The light on the bottom of the antenna is very dim and reception is no better than my original batwing. I have checked the power at the power supply and the end of the coax at the antenna and it reads at near 13 amps. Could there be something wrong with the Jack antenna?

Got this reply back this a.m.

Thank you for contacting Camping World. I apologize for the inconvenience. We have applied a credit of $38.21 for the defective Antenna Replacement Head. You will see your credit in 3-5 business days. Don't worry about shipping the damaged unit back to us, we don't need it back. If you have any further questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to contact us directly or call our Customer Service department at 1-800-626-3636.
Thank you,
Camping World Customer Care

I responded back will they send me a replacement or will I have to reorder, but haven't heard back yet.

Some people may not like CW for various reasons but I have always been treated fairly and this is one example of going over and above customer support.

Somewhat of a saga continues....

Continued

Got another replacement head from CW before the holiday and installed. Same results as the 1st. Will try it on the next trip in about a month to see if it may be any better than the original batwing.

Can't say enough good things about CW customer service, they did their part.

Thanks to all for the advise.
