AWNING
Does anyone know if the awning on new Cedar Creek 5ers is black. They say the hardware is black, but is the material also black. They can be very hot in the southwest. Have one now, NOT GOOD!

Good Morning! Our awning is beige and brown to match the 5th wheel colors of the silverback.

I have never seen pure black on the material yet. I don't even think they sell replacements black. All I have seen is the hardware black myself. I think black would be like an oven above you.....

We have a 2014 Work and Play 25ULA... The hardware is black and we requested a LIGHT COLOR awning fabric... and got CHARCOAL... and its not good.
The heat that it collects and it radiates through the awning... in the summer its miserable!!
We had to have it replaced under warranty... and AGAIN requested a beige color and we got... CHARCOAL!!
We may spend the bucks to get it replaced... just so we can enjoy our awning once again.

Just get a small squirrel cage fan to blow on it!

Our silverback is dark brown and the awning is dark brow stripe going into mostly mostly beige.

It gets HOT!! and it NOT what we ordered... the dealer was a PITA (Pain In The *****) to deal with. We will NEVER darken their doors again.
