Has anybody had any problem when you clean your filter when you put it back on if the tabs on your break off never had a problem on the older units but the new ones are cheaper I cleaned my filter twice and the tab broke a replacement is $16.95 !
The plastic on some brands is a bit thin these days. I would not keep buying the same poor quality product especially at $17. a copy.
You can easily install nylon screen door retaining clips in white
which would be fully functional, hardly noticeable and much more economical.
Those spring plastic clips become brittle over time and are sensitive to cold.
Just a thought.
