Check your tires. The four rear tires on my truck and the four on my 5'r are among those recalled.

It looks like Goodyear did the right thing with the voluntary recall and free tire replacement.

I hate it when my brain is in zombie mode. I meant Goodrich of course.

Pop, what are you doing over here? I didn't know you were a fellow Forest River'r...
Good to see...er...hear from you.
I have 6 year old Comm T/A's, and two a bit older. One slipped a belt and is in the bed and the other is looking a bit strange. I almost replaced those two this weekend. Looks like I'll be getting all 8 replaced for free.
I'm happy to see Michelin steeping up to the plate with this recall.

Did you mean to say that you have a quantity of six tires that are a year old? So far they are only recalling tires made in the last two years. If your tires actually are six years old (or older), they won't be included in the recall. Here is an excerpt from the recall notice:

BFGoodrich is voluntarily recalling two sizes of its BFGoodrich Commercial T/A A/S tires. These tires are typically found on commercial light trucks and full-sized heavy duty vans, although it is possible that consumers have purchased these replacement tires for their personal vehicles as well.

- The tires were produced between April 2010 and the end of July 2012.

- Sizes are: LT 235/85 R16 120 Q LRE and LT 245/75 R16 120 Q LRE.

Good catch, I worded that wrong.
I have 6 tires that are about a year old, and 2 almost two years old.
They are all in the recall. Sorry for the mix up.
6 are BFORJD11-2611, and the other two are BFORJD11-1510
