Black tank flush Check Valve

Anyone know where I can find this. Blue water line goes through Bathroom floor above cargo bay and back to top of Black Tank. Has a leak in either the hose or the check valve. How do I access it to fix?

Thanks for any advice or directions.

Tom

Not familiar with your rig, but I would look in the vanity around or behind the bathroom sink.

If it's a leaker, do away with it and go to HD or Lowes and get a brass one for a house....cost more, but will never leak again..

Is there a cabinet or access panel inside where the flusher connection is located on the outside?

Each model unit can be different. Mine was in the back of the bathroom linen closet, midway up in the closet. There was a large hole in the back of the closet. I know it's called for by code but I rip it out. The leakage liability is just too much risk.

DO NOT remove the check valve (aka backflow preventer)! It's there to prevent anything nasty from the black tank from backing up to the potable water supply!

If you absolutely want to remove it from inside, use one on the connection port.

- never flush the blackwater tank with out an external check valve and never use a potable water source to flush. Any internal vented check valve can leak and destroy your trailer. Been there and had that happen, twice.

Most dump stations have a separate water source for flushing. I don't flush unless going into storage. I mean, otherwise I will just be filling the tank with more stuff anyway.
