Yep and I found it by accident while camped one day in Florida. I did what I thought was my normal setup duties - Elec, sewer, and water. Went back inside to help DW get all that stuff organized and to enjoy an adult beverage with her while relaxing after a days drive. Soon we started to hear popping and other strange noises coming from the kitchen area. At times there would be a slight shudder accompanying the noises. At first we tried to ignore it but I finally jumped up and said that something was not right. Went outside to find water standing under the trailer and my next door neighbor saying that we must have sprung a leak! Long story short, when I looked under the trailer I could see the stream of water coming from the aforementioned tube. OK, what could be causing that??
I looked in the docking station and saw that I had left the water tank valve in the "Gravity" position instead of "City" position. I was filling the fresh water tank instead of routing water directly to the faucets, etc.! The tube was not handling the pressure from the hose, hence the popping noises and shuddering. The tank was expanding and under stress. I quickly shut off the water and changed the valve to "City". Then I drained the fresh tank using the tank drain tube. Bottom line: no damage done but I suppose it could have caused fresh water tank structural failure if I had not caught it. Stupid NEWBY mistake! Lesson learned: I now leave the water valve in the "City" position and I check it everytime I hook up.
