Must agree with blue light haters. I worked in the computer world not long ago and blue led indicators came into vogue. Compared to other colors, blue leds are like little lasers. I have had success using a paper punch to cut small dots out of electrical tape and place these directly over the led(s). As mentioned above, the sensor for the infrared remote is often very close to the led and a small square of tape can cover the sensor.

I recently discovered on my tv at home that there is an item in the settings that allows.you to choose whether to have an on light or an off light. Might check to see if yours has that. Could be at least one less light.

I kind of like the night lights. They keep me from tripping over the sleeping dogs, that don't stay in one place all night, when I need to visit the bathroom.

Of course we don't have the TV mounted in the bedroom either.

We put velcro dots over them. You can still operate the tv but hardly see the blue lights. You DO have to point the remote DIRECTLY at the spot or it will not activate. No need to pull tape on and off. Velcro stays 👍

i put a small piece of electrical tape the size of the blue light on mine so the IR sensor next to it was still uncovered. can just see a hint of the blue light if you look closely at it
