Cabinet retainers

In our old trailer we used the spring loaded retaining rods to keep things from falling over in the fridge and cabinets but they aren't long enough

Sorry I didn't get me original post finished. Anyway the retainers don't really fit the cabinets or residential fridge in our 36ckts. They're not long enough. Do you guys use something else or are the retainers really necessary to keep stuff in place while traveling?

How about pool noodles, cheap and can be cut to any length to insure a snug fit.
