Cadet wall heater

I have the cadet wall heater installed in our bedroom. My question is, how do you shut the power off to it, when you don't need it running. I currently shut it off by shutting the fuse off, it is hooked to the washer fuse. In the online manual, it states it has a 3 way switch, heat/off/fan, mine only says heat/fan. So now the way it is, when I want to run the washer, the fan will blow air. Any ideas?

yes

If I remember, I'm calling the dealer tomorrow.
not a big deal, but to completely shut it off, I have to do the breaker.

Mine has never come on. It's in 'off' position all the time now. Not sure why the on/off switch isn't turning yours off.

not sure where the on/off switch is at. I have a plus and minus switch, goes from 1 to 3 speed for the fan speed.
Ill take a pic and post of the front of the fan/heater

OK you made me go look. I have the fan speed + and - also.........but I have two other buttons.......one is fan speed and it is set to 0. Thus, it's not on. You are right, there is no on/off switch per se, but if I turn the fan speed to zero, it doesn't come on.

I bought mine in May, so I haven't had this heater on at all yet, actually.
