Eby's Pines in Bristol is nice. About 30 min from Topeka. Stayed there for a week a few summers ago and enjoyed it.

There is a mobile home/RV park in LaGrange, IN: Maple Ridge Mobile Home Park, 1006 S Detroit St, LaGrange, IN 46761. (LaGrange, IN Campground Reviews - Best of LaGrange Camping - RV Park Reviews). Pull in sites, very clean and nice plus only 20.00 a nite. Your about 15 min from the factory, on county roads. The back roads to Topeka, are excellent and easy for pulling a 40' 5th wheel. Even if you go US 20 to SR 5, to Topeka, it is only about 25 min, at the most.We have stayed here several times, when we've gone to have service done at the factory. The nice thing is, they are there and open year round.

Hope this helps and God bless,
Mike

Please excuse a potentially dumb question: Why do you need a campground if you're taking your RV back to CC for service? Do they do all repairs in a single day? If not, where do you sleep while RV is in for repair?
Ok Ok Ok, so it was 3 questions...

That was pretty funny but I know where the OP is coming from. If your appointment is say on a Monday, He'll prolly get in on a Saturday or Sunday somewhere and need a campground prior to repair. I second Shipshewana South on Rte 5. We stayed there a few summers ago and it was quiet and peaceful for the most part.

Which begs the follow up: where's a decent place to lay one's head while Cedar Creek takes 2/3/(4) days to change out front and rear caps?

They told me it was only at the most a four hour job but it's a camping trip for us. It's on a Friday and we plan to get there on Wednesday and stay until at least Monday or Tuesday. We plan to take in some sights

Depends on what you want, when we went out in March we stayed at the Blue Gate very nice and breakfast included, would stay there again.
