Shipshewana South campground would be a good choice. It's a decent campground and just 10 miles from the Topeka, IN factory.

I used the campground next to the flea market, full hook ups and probably the least expensive, if near flea market days it does fill up early.

Rally site SUCKS! Fairgrounds are ON the busiest RR tracks in Indiana.
Headphones; earplugs; nothing helps; every 15 minutes; every day!!

Fun for the first 15 minutes. " Oh look honey a train" becomes "ohhhhh noooo, another damned train".

If it wasn't for the Rally, no "sane" rv person would ever go there!

Seek others.

I have to agree. It's not the train that's so bad, it's the horn blowing as they go through the grade crossing. At night it sounds 3X louder.

maybe a bit further. and also enhanced with the local trains.. (but no extra charge for that feature!)..
Public RV Camping | Elkhart County 4-H Fair and Fairgrounds
or maybe Elkhart Campground
4h is year round. elkhart cg closes somewhere near 1 Nov.
Good luck!

We parked at Rally site in March. Trains were unbelievable but nut worst I've heard. Just camped at Shipshuana South two weeks ago. Right near center of Amish stores, bakeries and many other fun things. Place is very nice with great hosts. I don't think it's deliberate, but most RVs were newer and cleaner than in most campgrounds. We've camps there three different times and love it.

Shipshewana Flea Market Parking.

I just parked for 4 days there last week. It was $36.00 a night with full hookup. There are 50+ sites. If there Tues or Wed the flea market is open. Within walking distance is a nice restaurant with a dinner show that the show and meal was excellent.
