Flinstones, this sounds along the lines of what I've heard. Where were you able to see pictures of one? Figure we'll see one hit the dealer in time, but curiosity is killing me.

Factory Rep sent me information. We have a 2011 3804 Cardinal and were looking to order a 2014 36B4 with Level Up and outside kitchen plus some other features not available on our Cardinal.

I am very surprised Cedar Creek killed the 36B4, seems like quite a few families own that model.

Well, as long as the silverback has a few more features and upgrades, I'm sure we can live with that one. There were only a few reasons for us wanting the cedar creek. Some are easy upgrades for me to do on the SB, others I'll just have to live without, like the dropped frame and larger front storage.

Wow......I just purchased my 36B4 in July. Should I be happy or worried? I usually trade in within 5 years. Mine was built in April according to some of the papers we found and stickers. We did our first camp last week and everything was great. Still waiting for the rep to call me back regarding the bluray player and stereo system. Missing a few small things but nothing major. Going to Cape Cod next week for 10 days can't wait.

Baker, we have the same rig, built in the same month. Did you get a toilet paper holder in the half bath with yours? Ours was missing. Our issues were mostly minor as well - we should compare notes.

And here is what the new Silverback looks like. Talking at the dealer today, and this rolls in the parking lot. I like it. Very similar appearance to the cedar creek, minus some bells and whistles. Front closet is WAY better, offering a separate washer and dryer now. Level up system optional. All slides hydraulic. Didn't look too long as it isn't a 35qb4, but I'm happy to see they're going this direction.

I'm sure here in a few days, the dealer will post the photos. They'll be at www.gauthiersrv.com. Just search for new FR fifth wheels.

Yes let's compare notes. After your note I looked in the kids bathroom and no toilet paper roll lol. I did find a plastic protector missing from the TV rear mount. It scrapes metal moving side to side. I also can't find the temp setting on the outside fridge. I tried feeling on the back but nothing. Costco's has a great same make on sale but it's too big. Found a broken curtain holder not a big deal. Still waiting for the dealer to find out why no bluray and stereo system. It was listed as being in the unit. I do have the Jensen with speakers in the ceiling no sub sounds like an AM radio from the 60's lol...Leaving Sunday going to Cape Cod, Mass. Let's keep in touch with different findings on our units. Does the discontinue make ours a classic and much sought after????
