Question CC Silverback, is there a built in water filter???

Hi all
Just picked up 5er and have to dewinterize it. Is there a built in water filter? There isn't a Visible one so is there a hidden one?
It's a CC Silverback 29RE. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks RonG

It would be below where you hook up your water hose. Have heard that some don't have them now.

Question on WATER FILTER.... After this LAST FILTER DIES, considering discarding it and leaving the housing on for the remainder of the year, without a filter cartridge.

I plan to take the housing off and sterilize it AND go back to the old method of in line hose filters at the outside point of water source.

Plan to do that until I can see how to use those shark bites and by pass it permanently.

Any concerns?!

I have never installed the filter that came with the system. Just left it out and use inline at out side water connection. Later RJD

X2 Never installed my filter either...Just use an external inline filter now....Need to look into removing the canister before it unscrews or breaks.

We use ours all the time, never had a problem with it unscrewing or anything. Just used the right replacement filters and made sure it was snug each season.

However, now that I've gotten around to buying a set of Pex crimps (to deal with a different issue elsewhere in the trailer) I am considering installing a couple of valves to mimic the WH bypass so I can bypass the filter housing during winterization. I figure that'll save me about 1/2 gallon of antifreeze and prep me to bypass the filter if whatever ya'll have been worried about does eventually happen to me.
