Our 2014 CC stainless steel kitchen sinks have black marks on them - not scratches, but discolorations. Anyone have this problem, and if so were you able to remove them? Old remedies don't seem to work.

Watch acidic foods/cleaners/etc with stainless as the metal is blackened by low pH (DW is notorious for OJ rings in our kitchen sink), especially lower grades of stainless (typical of sinks). If Bar Keepers Friend or Bon Ami don't remove it, use an automotive compound. In the worst case, you'll need to refinish the sink by traditional metal polishing work.
Bar Keepers Friend is found in Home Depot or Lowes, possibly Walmart or others. You can apply it and work it in aggressively with no fear of scratches. Works excellent on counter stains as well. Google it so you know what the container looks like.
