CC38FL - Sony DVD/Blue-ray BX520/Media Player

Well we have been looking around for a while and found one more solution to our media/entertainment issues. When we bought the rig it came with a Vizio Blue-Ray player. We do some boondocking/dry camping, but still like to watch a movie or something when the weather is not so nice for being outside. Currently we use the generator but always try to shut it down before 11:00 pm even if it ends our movie a bit early.

Well this Sony caught my eye as it had an external power supply. This works out great as the power supply is 12V DC into the player. So this will now be fused and wired into the 12V so there will be no need to reset it/program it each time we have AC. And picked it up for under $70 for a decent media player that can play DVD/Blue-ray plus we can plug in our hard drive with movies on it to play them also.

With an inverter for the TV/Sat box we will now be able to watch a movie or a program without any generator running.

Bought at BJs with a coupon. Ordered some quick-disconnects and will cut the power wire that came with it and connect the quick-disconnects so I can still plug in with the power adapter if needed. Will post pictures one the connectors come in next week.
