Not sure which steps these are but our steps fell off when my DH was going in the camper. FR sent new ones. The old ones had a hollow rod and the new ones had a solid rod.

Interesting they were used on 2014 Cardinals and not Ceder Creeks

Mine work fine so far but I'll keep them checked, it seems like every time I take the Cedar Creek back to fix the top on my tv they have to get something else approved to fix on the camper

I have an early 2015 unit, built in 2014. While at the factory yesterday I had them check on mine. It is by VIN# and mine was not part of the recall.

We had steps break at the rivets and replaced at Goshen 2 years ago and the new ones just did the same thing at Nashville last week. Good thing we are heading to Goshen I guess.

We did receive one in mail for our CC 32RL. Plan on taking it in at the end of the summer when we get a few other things fixed.

My 2013 CC was only a few months old when a step broke. Drilled out the pop type rivets and replaced with 5/16 in. bolts with locking nuts. Problem solved.

Our 2014 Silverback has the 3 step version & isn't listed under this recall. However, the hollow connecting rod at the top bent then broke after 4 months. FR replaced under warranty. The new steps look identical but that rod is holding up fine after 10 months of use. Might be a solid rod now... can't tell for sure.
