Sweetlou, we purchased ours 3 weeks ago. There are several dealers in Texas that have the coach in stock. We have been very pleased so far. Have not been out yet but been just getting it ready for a trip in the next few weeks. We researched the 38rd and FB2 models for about 3 months before settling on the 38rd. Let me know if you have any questions. I will be glad to answer. Good luck!

Hubby fell in love with the FB2. I see the FB as a waste of space. I don't plan on spending a whole of time in the bathroom...lol Have now added outside kitchen as a must have for our next trailer.

Sweetlou, I tow with a 2013 Chevrolet 3500 HD Crew Cab Long bed single wheel Z71 4X4 Duramax. Also a Reese Signature V series 18K hitch. We have only had the coach for 4 weeks but have not seen anything yet that we dislike at this point. There are only a few options we did not get like generator, air ride hitch, dish washer, full body paint and dual pane windows. This is our third fifth wheel and I have been very impressed with cedar creeks construction and design. I would say you would be pretty happy with this coach. We researched the high end fifth wheels and mid range and almost went with Mobile Suites until we saw the CC. Good luck and let us know if you go with the 38RD.

We are eyeing the 38RD as well -- in fact, being able to get this unit with a 5.5KW Generator was a winning point for us (Walmart/Cracker Barrel overnights in the south in the SUMMER are miserable without A/C )

Now, I wonder how loud the 5.5KW Generator is?

What is the full body paint? And what made you decide against the air ride hitch?

Full body paint is coach is painted and the decals are painted. About a 5k cost. As for the air ride the coach did not have that available when we purchased. I am thinking about adding that in the near future.

38 has no upper kitchen cabinets. If you're a cook like I am, no space for dishes or glassware
