Sounds good Jjam! I’ll look into that when we get back down there in October!

Has anyone added additional batteries or an inverter? I’d like to be able to run the fridge and some 120v off d/c at night.

We are in the process of buying a 2017 CCK Hathaway edition Cottage.
We presently use a Keystone Avalanche 345TG fifth wheel for our camping but wanted a good base for snow birding in Florida.
The fifth wheel is okay but we like the Cottage for a permanent site.
We would want to add a washer and dryer to the closet that is prepared for it but it looks so small. Has anyone installed a stacking set there?

I ordered my 2020 Cottage with the washer and dryer but don't use them and will be selling them to opt for more closet space. My site in Cortez Florida is three site from the park laundry and find it more convenient to do three loads at once.

Welcome to the Cottage family!
Ours is a 2014 CFE and there’s not much space in the closet where the water is for the washer/dryer.. I ended up putting up a shed alongside the Cottage and put a full-size over-under unit in there. It just makes the trailer so much larger to use that space for closet...

We did. Worked fine. Cut the closet space a bit but beats the heck out of going to the nasty laundries.

Congrats on the new Cottage. We love ours and built a deck which gives us another room right outside the sliding door.

The site we're buying has a shed but the limited size is just enough for my work shop !

In our 40CCK i installed the Splendide Washer ARWXF129WNA and Dryer TVM63XNA.
Using the stacking kit and thru the wall vent it went tight but well.I had to make a access
in the shelf above the dryer to connect the dryer vent.
The washer and dryer have worked very well.

It was a Splendide. Don't know the model as we moved out of the Cottage and back into a Class A in Feb.

Do you remember where to put the dryer vent exhaust ?
There is no indication in the closet where to drill thru.
Thanks

We picked up the Splendide washer and dryer today. Put the washer in okay. Now looking at the dryer.
The space between the back wall and the back of the dryer is only 5". No room to get the 4" vent line connected to the dryer and wall outlet.
Seems like the vent flex line must be directly in line between the two.
The Splendide vent kit supplied an 18" long flex line.
Any ideas to get the flex line connected short of cutting a hole in the closet wall?
Thanks

All done, made oversized hole for vent directly behind dryer output, connected flex to dryer, placed dryer 3/4 way in, reached thru hole and pulled the flex thru. Slid outside cover in flex and mounted it. Moved dryer all the way in.
Not as bad as I thought.

We had our first component failure last week. The blower on the electric fireplace sounds like a bearing went out. Funny thing is, there are no manufacture name or trademarks on the remote and fireplace. Any recommendations for a replacement?

Our unit had manual from this company: Have not contacted them, so cannot give you any more information. Hope this helps.
