Cedar Creek Custom?

Twice now, I have seen campers labeled as "Cedar Creek Custom". Can anyone tell me about them?

I saw this in Clerbrook Golf and RV Resort in Groveland, FL.

Not in 2012.
The Custom was the middle paint scheme. None, Creekside, Custom and Touring I think. The custom paint included most of the front cap, the side graphics, bottom trim and the outer perimeter of the rear cap. They used Ford colors and there was no clear overcoat. The Cedar Creek name and Custom were vinyl decals.

The Custom Paint option was discontinued about a month ago. I was going to order it. I was a couple weeks late.

The graphics were painted on, instead of being decals. Then the sides got a full clear coat. The caps were painted as well.

The rest of the trailer is the same.

So now it's standard or full body paint?

That is correct. We were told the paint shop increased the price for masking the custom paint option that it made it too close to the price of the Touring Edition full body paint so they discontinued the custom paint option.

I'm sorry to hear they stopped the "Custom." I'm pleased with our CC and the way it looks. It was a nice alternative to the fully painted coach.

I like the "Custom" paint better than the "Full Body Paint" Touring Edition. I was told by the dealer that it was cancelled because the "take rate" wasn't high enough or they changed paint vendors or ... who knows. I wonder if the introduction of the Champagne Edition factored into this change.

I was disappointed Cedar Creek cancelled Custom paint. I wanted it a lot. So much that I revisited other brands for a possible purchase. In the end I ordered a Cedar Creek with the Hathaway Edition (standard exterior). I sincerely hope I won't be disappointed.
