Your contact at Forest River is:
Cory Germann
E mail: cgermann@forestriverinc.com

There has been a shift at FR. Cory is warranty administrator replacing Denise Davis who now runs the service center. I have received great cooperation on my 2015 Silverback crack in gel coat. See my comments on the forum...

If out of warranty, write to Denise and ask her advice on what to use to restore original gloss.

Good luck. If you have a good experience, please post it. We tend to
point out negatives.

I still haven't gotten word back from my dealer when they will do this repair. Seems that Cedar Creek will pay for the, what I think is a temporary fix, but are leaving it up to the owner to figure out how to get it done. Cedar Creek is aware of this problem but not doing much to help owners get it fixed. Many of us have one or two year old units that are looking like 10 years old. Such a shame on what was a beautiful 5'er.

I think she was the one that told me back in October that if I wanted to bring it back to the factory they couldn't get it in until June 2015. Not much help.

Every time I call Tom Johnson they tell me Cedar Creek will not pay enough to fix camper. This started in October and camper still is not fixed and now the fade is in the decals. I just sent off a email, I'll let you know how it comes out. The warranty runs out in February or March.

Your warranty will cover your repairs as long as it is factory documented. That's the way it rolls. If your dealer cannot do the job, document it and send FR pics BEFORE warranty expires. Use certified mail, return receipt.
I said in a prior note, Cory Germann has just come from another mfgr and is NOW in charge of warranty. Denise Davis is service shop supervisor.
Your suggested date of factory repair of JUNE is not a stretch. The weather in Indiana is not very stable until May anyway. I would focus on getting it back to the factory. That way you get a first class repair.

Try it, you may find what you need.

I have emailed Cory Germann, but it seems his email has been stopped. Any other suggestions?

I would call Cedar Creek direct and take who ever answers. It seems the personal changes often. So who is here today has moved on tomorrow.

Many of the major manufacturers are now going to painted caps as opposed to colored gel-coat caps.

I am afraid Tom Johnson is pretty useless in this department. I called them three times, then they told me they have never heard of anyone with a faded front cap. I hope Forest River will help me. Maybe we should start a classaction lawsuit about this.
