The Tec. That does my work, averages one to two fifth wheel and pickup beds a year that have been damaged by a pulled hitch Handel. The first thing he told me was to get a lock on the hitch. Just cheep insurance.

I emailed Cedar Creek and they said the techs tried it and when they pushed really hard the door would open. I'll ask them to show me how I can get my door open when I take it to them to fix the cap. There are going to have egg on there face, mine will not open unless you mess up the door. I didn't want to argue with them, at least they answered the email

On our 36CKTS all I have to do is pop the screen in window beside door, very easy to do, crank out window and reach out and move handle. I tried this plus pushing on door, the door push does work but may cause damage to door but in case of fire who cares. The screen and window are easier and just as fast.

On the 36CKTS the screen has clips and can be removed and replaced very easy. The window is a crank out and it also is easy to open and close. Do not know about others just ours.

Some of the smaller screens need to be pushed to the side and carefully pried out....they have a spring clip that's riveted to screen frame
