Cedar Creek Pre-Wire for Winegard Traveler

I received these three diagrams from Cedar Creek this week . They should help in understanding the installation of the Winegard Traveler antennae. This week I installed the Directv version SWM3 on my 2014 36CKTS. In the first diagram fig 3 mine only has I coax fitting on right side. That's the only coax fitting you use. Also prior to lugging the antennae to the roof go ahead and disconnect the Power Cable leave the Heyco nut with the cable. the one in the roof has one on it already. The second diagram is not for the traveler but is only for the "over the air" antennae or portable dish. This is located in your cabinet to the lower right of the TV next to this plate will be another label "Satellite Dish Hook Up" this is where you will hook up the Traveler. The third diagram is the coax layout for the various Cedar Creek models. The coax labeled living room color gray, on mine it was purple. The front bedroom was white. On the roof where that label is to pull the cable out there will be 1 power/comm cable and two coax cable one for the bedroom (white) and one for the living (mine was purple). Neither coax has a connector so you will need to take two up there with you. For the pre-wired units the installation is really simple. Only took the daughter and I about an hour. So just read the instructions.

Interior pre-wire

These are the interior hookups. First, bedroom behind TV the plate on the right. Second, bedroom linen closet. Remove the plate in the top then fish out the power/comm cable, I had to make the hole bigger to get my hand up there. Connect that cable to the back on the controller and plug the power supply in.
Third, This is in the cabinet to the lower right of your living room TV. The plate on the left is for the Traveler. Connect a coax here then to the Power Inverter fitting labeled "Power to SWM". Run another coax from the fitting labeled "Signal to IRD" to the back of your Directv receiver and that's it. I know the Directv Genie might hook up different. This is for a regular Directv HD box.

Nice write-up. I wonder if it's the same for my 2010 34SATS?
