Cedar Creek Remote

I have had my 2014 Cedar Creek 34 RLSA for almost a year with no problems until recently. The remote control that operate awning, slides, porch light and leveling legs, has stopped working.
When I press the ON button the little blue light in the upper right corner lights like it is suppose to, when I press any of the buttons, i.e. awning, slides, etc., the button lights but when I press retract, or extend nothing happens and all the lights go out and it seems to shut down.
Anyone had this type of problem? Would the battery need replacing, it hasn't been used much?

I'd replace the battery and go from there. Many times there is just enough battery power to illuminate a light on the device itself but lacks the power to actually transmit.

Sync

You may to re sync the remote with the controller. I had to do this one time. Check your manuals there is instructions for doing this and should only take a minute. The controller will be located in the front storage area along with a lot of the other electrical stuff.

Had this issue a couple of times on my 2012 CC and a new battery will fix the problem.

New battery did the trick. These remotes must consume a battery fairly fast. Hadn't used it much in the past 10 months.
But good to know it is as simple at the battery.

In addition to replacing my battery every year. It seems to make a difference how I load my basement and how high items are stacked. I don't know if some of the items may block the signal or what but it has seemed to make a difference.
