After reading a lot on the lippert 6 point level up system that will be on my rig I'm wondering if anyone has some recent experience with the latest version?. All you ever read on the internet are the people having problems. Are problem units that common or are they for the most part pretty good?

We had a mfg defect in one cylinder but zero problems so far otherwise.

We have a 2014 35QB4 and love it. As for the level up, only problem we had was the popping sound you might have read about, which can be somewhat resolved with an additive Lippert suggests.

I have read about the popping noise. I was thinking of buying the additive and when I bring it home just add it right away to prevent the noise.

Definitely won't hurt anything. Here's the procedure I had found:
Introduction:
If there is a popping noise in a Lippert Leveling system, Lippert has approved adding a quart of anti-stiction
fluid. Approved fluids are listed by brand name and fluid characteristics below:
1. Torco RFF Grade 15 (Fig. 1)
2. Maxima Fork Oil Grade 15 (Fig. 2)
3. Caterpillar Hydraulic Oil Additive 1U-9891 (Fig. 3)
For maximum results in the shortest amount of time, please follow the preparation and procedure exactly
as written below. Failure to follow the preparation and procedure may result in delayed resolution of the
audible disturbance.
Preparation:
1. Obtain a clean container (large enough to hold a quart of fluid)
2. Obtain a fluid extraction device (siphon, turkey baster, etc.)
3. Fully retract all hydraulic cylinders and jacks.
Process:
1. Using the fluid extraction device, remove one quart of fluid from the power unit reservoir.
2. Add 1/2 quart of the specified fluid.
3. Extend all hydraulic cylinders and jacks fully.
4. Add the remaining amount of the specified fluid.
5. Fully retract all hydraulic cylinders and jacks.
6. Run the Auto-Level feature on the Level-Up system per the instructions found in the Owner's Manual.
NOTE: If the noise persists, the addition of a second quart may be necessary. Follow steps 1 through 6.

Sounds as though they will still slip, but with more lubricity, you just won't hear them! Great fix! I have them also, just relevel every few weeks, good to exercise the system anyway.

Since we full time and don't want to have to fool with releveling every few weeks, we level the fifth wheel, and have 6 Camco telescoping tri-pod jacks that we snug up under the frame near each level up jack. We never have to relevel. But we're in one spot for months, and I didn't want my wife to have to fool with it while I'm offshore. If I were a weekend warrior, I wouldn't fool with the jack stands.

Just heard from the dealer that I will be getting a Husky 26k hitch with my new rig. My questions is with my chevy 2500hd truck with a 6' box will I have to be worried about the rig hitting the truck in tight turns?

The nose on the Silverback is sculpted back quite a bit, so you should be able to make most turns just fine. Just remember that you will hit if the turn approaches 90*, and uneven terrain can close the cab-camper gap quickly. IMO, considering the cost of the truck and camper, a good slider hitch is cheap insurance.

Starting to get frustrated with our dealer. Can't get a firm delivery date. Said last week that it should be this week, and not he says that it's still not ready. I have reservations in a week and a half.

Part of the problem may be the increase in orders the RV industry is seeing and the well advertised shortage of transport drivers.... Hoping it arrives for you in time!

Don't rush your dealer too much or they may rush the dealer prep or skip it completely.
