Completely removed mine as it was a total P.I.T.A. when it came time to change filters.... just built a bypass with PEX line and two 90deg brass fittings in case I wanted to install a different filtration unit later. In the meantime, our in-line hose end filter seems to be doing a pretty good job

Picked up our 38rd and had no water filter. The brochure showed that but guess they decided to remove. Sounds like a wise move.

What size PEX line is in the Cedar Creek? Did you use Sharkbite 90's?

You that have eliminated the filter, what is the best way? Any pictures? My guess is to just cut the PEX fittings off on either side of the filter and run a cross over PEX line using Shark Bite fittings.

I have noticed looking at pictures of the new CC 5th. wheels there is NO filter unless they installed it somewhere else.

Your filter is in a better location than mine. I would remove the filter and let her ride. It looks as if your canister fails it will just flood out? My filter is located inside under the steps. I to removed the filter (we use the blue torpedo inline).
