Ceiling Fan in 29RE

Does anyone know if the Silverback 29RE is prewired for a ceiling fan? If so, does the ceiling have reinforcement to mount the ceiling fan to? Also, where would it be located?
I'm assuming it is not, because there is no place marked, nor is there a switch anywhere.
I sure would like to mount a small 110 volt AC ceiling fan in our unit.

Silverbacks don't normally come with ceiling fans like Cedar Creeks. That's one of the tradeoffs not going with a Cedar Creek besides a dropped frame, more real wood, and more standard eye candy. When we ordered our 33IK, we asked for a ceiling fan and $149.00 later we got one wired in while they were building it.

Would assume the framework to be the same on them. Not sure. Found REFER doesn't mean refrigerator outlet on the breaker panel this weekend.

This is mine 2010 29 RE. Hope it helps.

From back of camper.

Kinda to the left side of AC and vent. Probably the brace in between them.

Diesel guy; not the answer I wanted, but it is what I expected. Thanks
Pipeliner, did you install that fan yourself, or did your camper come with the fan. Your pictures are hugely helpful. Thank you.

Was there. My guess is that that they run wiring along wiring for AC.

It fits with slides with a couple of inches to spare.

We were told (Spring 2015) by the factory rep at the show when we placed the order that the wiring and related switch is not pre-installed on Silverbacks. It's just like if you don't opt for the washer/dryer hookups ... there is no plumbing or wiring going to say the front closet.

I was meaning if he wanted to run wires. A frost sensor went bad on AC. We have the first digital thermostat that barely got used for a year. Didn't have the money to upgrade both pieces but the tech said it could be done to pull wires thru. I could see a headache if they have it zip tie or hard turn. It's up to OP. There are people on here that can do things I cannot or don't have the guts to try.

Ceiling Fan

Hi.
We have 2015 Silverback 31RK. It did come with a ceiling fan. It may have been part of the package that came with it.

I have 2015 29IK and was told FR stopped putting the ceiling fans in after they added an upgraded AC. I had one factory installed at time of build for $150.

The ceiling fans are standard on the Cedar Creek units with two and three A/C units. So I really do not think this is true! Check out the specification sheet for Cedar Creek.

To me the reason a ceiling fan is not offered with the Silverback edition is the shape of the slide-out rooms. With the cathedral style roof this eliminates the space required for the fan when the slide room is in the travel position. The ceiling fan is not even offered as an option per the latest information on the web site.
Just my $0.02

Jim34RL - I went to the RV shows in late 2014 and the Silverback 29IK had the ceiling fan. I went to order one in Jan 2015 and the online brochure did not show a ceiling fan so I asked my salesman what the deal was. He checked with the factory and was told that when they upgraded to the Whisper A/C in mid/late 2014 they deleted the ceiling fan. In Jan 2015 it was not listed as an option, but the salesman called the factory and they agreed to add it to my unit for $140. It is located towards the rear of the unit.
