Cover or no cover

I have a 2015 Cedar Creek 34RLSA and I am thinking about putting a cover on it for the winter. I have a 5th wheel cover from my previous camper that I can use. This is an Adco brand cover but it put some rub marks on the previous camper from the wind blowing it. I had it fastened tight too. I don’t want rub marks on my Cedar Creek. Any suggestions or comments?

rub marks can happen anyway the fabric or attachments are allowed to move. I don't cover my TT but do my boat and at all the attachments points I have padding to keep them from moving or rubbing the boat, just a thought. Many RVs are uncovered all year without problems.

I cover mine to keep the snow off the roof. I don't want ice dams creating puddles on the roof.
