CC75, if you are coming up I-57 - and I would recommend it over I-55, in the town of Rantoul, IL (north of Champaign) there is a campground called Prairie Pines. It is on the grounds of the old Rantoul Air Force Base, now owned and operated by the City of Rantoul. (It was originally EITHER a fam camp or a trailer court that was part of base housing, depending on who you listen to.) Decent place to overnight.
