Demand Water Heater

Today I summarized my new CC 36ckts. All went pretty well with just a small leak in the bathroom sink trap and no water flow on the hot side of the kitchen sink faucet. Still trouble shooting the kitchen sink. Waiting for my wife to get home for that. I need someone to turn the water on while I hold a water line in a bucket to check flow.

The controls for the hot water heater are shown in the red oval. All is good in the DSI (Direct Spark Ignition) position. I do not know what FLT stands for and when is the red light suppose to turn on?

Thanks

FLT stand for fault. The little red light between DSI and FLT should come on when the DSI tries to ignite the burner for the water heater. Once the burner is lit the red light should go out.

When there is a fault, does the red light blink?

Although the rocker switch doesn't say on and off, I assume the up position is on and down is off.

The red "fault" light, will come on and stays on if the heater tries twice to light and gets no propane.

Wife came home and held hot water line in a bucket while I turned water on to camper. Had good flow to faucet so looks like my problem is in the faucet.

Just used my new 36ckts

So there is not a lot of information on the hot water tank and how to use it. Did you ever figure out the bypasses and then is it electric and gas or just gas? I thought mine was on but had luke warm water coming out.

on mine, you slide the door that in the basement. Its by the steps, and vac. then take out 2 screws and locate the tiny-very tiny switches and set them to 130, they are factory set to 120. you sort of have to crawl up in the basement to get to it.
