Didn't expect this

I"ve been thinking about putting my spare being the axles under the unit, so off I go to explore and get shocked when I see that the frame has had 40 inches welded on to extend it, I'm dumbfounded. Any comments?

The bad thing is i had a forest river sierra that had the exact same thing! Our new sandpipe isnt like that though. It never was a problem with us. But couldnt understand why. Both sides was like that.

I can't see any sense in it unless who ever supplied the frame screwed up, it takes a lot more work to do this.

You can be THANKFUL you found this BEFORE any frame mods, regardless of how minor your plan. Weld could crack and fingers would be flying.

If you get the frame ok'd , I still would not tap that frame for ANY unauthorized, not approved in writing, mod.

Roads are ROUGH!! Lot's of stress on that frame!

Could this be a CSA vs a non CSA frame? It was suppose to be certified.
