Forest River Cardinal has the disc brake option $1995.00. from the factory. You also get the 7K axles and a 12 inch I beam instead of a 10 inch I beam with the option package. Well worth the money

I am buying a cardinal and on the options sheet it has $2893.00 for disc brakes with the 7000 lb axle. Can you tell me where to find it cheaper

Jeff Couches RV Nation in Hamilton Ohio. He beat everyone by over 5K on the price of the Cardinal 3250 RL that I priced out with all the options I wanted. The one dealer that I talked to here in my home town gave me a price of over 61K for the same unit that Couches quoted me a little over 55K. Couches RV has received very good reviews from a lot of folks here on the Forest River Forums. The guy I have been talking to is Brannon, great guy and never once has he been pushy like some other salesmen I have dealt with here in my home town. You might want to give them a call, they might save you a nice chunk of change.

Couch's is the only place I'll buy a trailer from. Brannon is the only salesman I want to deal with.

These people will be in my driveway next week installing disc brakes:

Disc Brakes

$2893 is not a bad price. I am paying $2550 to have mine done here at the house next weekend and I have 6000 # axles. That factory price is good and I strongly recommend you order them.
I am using the same folks as BandJCarm.

Any feedback yet from the guys in this thread having the disc brakes installed last month?

It would be nice to read your impressions.

I'll post what I find out after this weekend. I'll take some pictures of the brakes being installed. The installer is coming Wednesday. I have heard two others on this forum say good things about the disc brakes. Most people that I have talked too say the disc brakes should come standard on all campers. There is two things that should come standard, one the disc brakes and two a TPMS. But that's just my opinion but it does cost a little more

I echo the "good things" statements regarding the disc brakes. I spent less by installing my own. Disc brakes are the way to go even if paying the labor to have a pro install them.

Glad to know you guys are happy with them too!

They stopped real well on the 5 miles to the shop, where I took my trailer for water tank issues!

Leaving 04/10 for trip to Toledo Bend. IF I get a signal down there, will report more.
