Dual air thermostats

Does the front thermostat/bedroom have any control of the heating furnace?

No, it only controls the ac in there. You can put a space heater in the bedroom and make it as warm as yo would like at night and if the main is set at 68 degrees, it will not effect it.

We have three thermostats for our three A/C units, but only the rear one controls the furnace and heat pump.

The other two indicate "FURNACE" as an option - but...no-go if you choose furnace on either of them.
