Warranty

The comment regarding "extended" needs clarification. Forest River ABSOLUTELY, 100%, stands behind it's 2nd year, "extended warranty". Trust me. Unfortunately I know from experience. The FR factory has been EXTREMELY HELPFUL in making my unit right.
DEALER SOLD WARRANTIES ARE DIFFERENT AND HAVE REQUIREMENTS AND RESTRICTIONS.
Many are EXCELLENT! You need to READ and UNDERSTAND what you are signing up for and spending your money on. Find REVIEWS of performance just like anything else. Yes, parts or accessories like Dometic have a mfg warranty BUT FR has 100% leverage with them in problem resolution. ( I recently had my 2 yr old main cabin ac replaced by Dometic. No charge)
As I have previously stated, get angry, and fume. Then settle down and bring reality into perspective and contact FR to share your issues in a non threatening letter or e mail. FR makes notes of ALL ISSUES and will cover them AFTER YOUR TIME EXPIRES if on file. Sometimes way past that as the forum posters note.

I got dual panes on my FR 2016 TT this year, and camped last weekend on our land in central Wisconsin. Nighttime temp dropped into the upper 20's. Not a single window fogged up. Make sure you get them on the patio door to if you upgrade. I also did the double insulation R14 in roof and ceiling, and the R38 extreme weather package.

Cranking up a movie inside with a Vizio 5.1 sound bar inside, and stepping outside for a few moments, I could barely hear anything. It does help with noise inside and out. And I was camping alone, as I had to close up for the season at the end of the weekend.
