Electric break on silverback 29 IK

I'm wondering if our electric brakes work properly without falling are you know with a Dodge ram 3500 but it seems we have to set the brakes on the Dodge 9.5 and then it really doesn't lock them up anybody have any experience with what the proper setting would be and if their brakes are working properly

Sounds like the brakes need adjusted to me.

Most are not "self adjusting" you have to adjust them every now and again.

I have a 33rl and can lock the brakes around the 7 range tops. I tow all over the eastern US set at 5.0 and jt's smooth. Also, check your RV to truck plug in connector. I had an issue where it was not seated properly resulting in uneven braking. Stuff can form on those plug ins.

Mine r Dexter never adjust as well. Likely something minor. Our unit is a 2015 and we have towed from West Palm Beach through N Georgia mountains up to Mackinaw City, Michigan and back to Atlanta. No brake issues. I DID HAVE AN ISSUE. When I picked the unit up in Florida, therein was my poor connection. I fixed it at the rv resort we stayed at the very first night. Good luck!! Hope that is the issue with you!!

Had that problem on my old truck....You could plug the trailer plug in upside down!!!!!!!

I have had four assemblies go bad on the right side only in three years. I found it is due to them backing off and falling apart. I know now if they feel week I need to adjust them.

Had same think when got our 2015 31Rk with Dodge 2500. On old camper ran 2.5. Had to go with 10 on the new one to even tell if they were engaging. After couple trips, now running 4.5 to 5. Must be a break in thing.
