I have 12 of these throughout the trailer and so far 6 of them have failed over the past 4 years and had to be replaced. The culprit is the on/off switch on the fixtures. Have any other Silverback owners had issues with this style of light?

I have had to replace three switches in mine. The two in the bedroom as you walk in and the one over the kitchen sink. All the switches just got to hard to turn or stuck. No problems since.
I've replace the two in the bathroom, two in the bedroom, the one over the kitchen sink, and Forest River fixed two in the living area at the Goshen rally.
I currently have one more in the living area that quit working three days ago. I'm hoping I can wait until the Goshen rally to have that one fixed. I don't know who the supplier was for those lights but the suck.
One more effort at posting a picture of the light.

Looks like one of the bulbs may be burned out but the other one is also out. If so then this to me says that the bulbs may be wired in series instead of parallel. That wiring is factory terminated inside of the unit.

It just looks that way in the photo. Had I used the camera's flash both sides of the fixture would look the same. As a matter of fact that is a picture of one of the few fixtures that hasn't failed. In all cases both bulbs were good, it was the connection at the on/off switch that failed.

Dang it oak man. The first light you can reach in the bedroom just shorted out today. Replaced with a Diamond marine switch I had in parts drawer. It's a little bigger but fits in the spot. Easier to rock.
The wires were hot to the touch when unhooking the switch. Less than an hour on.
